First time at the one on decarie. Really not a fan of the new decor. Food was ok. West Island BR still feels like a steak house and the food is better. It's all about the cooks in the back.

Went on a Monday evening around 5 pm. Dining room wasn't very busy. Service was ok and food was also ok. The ribs were average (as noted by other reviewers), kids menu chicken tenders were soggy and the gnocchi was absolutely delicious. Waitress was cordial but not overly friendly. We were left mildly disappointed.

They have a lovely terrace outside for the summertime. All of our food was absolutely delicious. I had the crab cakes plus a side salad with delicious dressing. My companion also had a salad which I tasted (thai salad I think) also with delicious dressing. Not the cheapest place though, but all in all very nice. Good service as well.

We walked in and were greeted by… absolutely no one. Just us awkwardly hovering by the door like uninvited guests. We sat down, and things seemed fine — until two of us ordered steak. Both came undercooked.

Our waiter? Basically a magician. Except instead of pulling rabbits out of hats, he disappeared into thin air. After 20 minutes of trying to get someone’s attention, another staff member finally noticed and asked, “Do you need me?” We said yes… and he literally walked away.

Another 20 minutes later, our actual waiter returned — no apology, just, “Want me to grill them longer?” At that point, sure, throw them back on, maybe we’ll get them by breakfast.

Then came the finale: four separate bills. One friend decided not to tip (understandably), but the waiter cornered her and pressured her into tipping anyway — despite already getting tips from the rest of us. I’ve never seen someone vanish for half the meal, serve raw steak, skip the “sorry,” and still be shocked about not getting a bigger tip.

Not bad, but not memorable.
