It's a good place with a nice stage for small shows but the drinks are expensive compared to other bars with stages.
Beer is about 1.5x more expensive than other places after tip. Shots are 2x more expensive. Beer is standard selection with nothing artisanal or special.
The bartender woman did a poor pour job of my beer as well. Stopped pouring at the little bulge of the glass instead of flush with the top so you really get about 12-14oz of beer per pint instead of a standard 16oz like at other places. Why am I getting less beer for more money? It's inconsistent too since another guy poured a full one.
Come here if there's a show you want to see scheduled but you won't get as much booze for your money if you come here to drink

The bar hosts a lot of events and its a good location. The service overall was poor, unfriendly and in a rush to pick unfinished drinks. The pours where also stingy for the price we paid. When mentioned to the floor manager he asked to remove my rating from google and offered a free drink. An apology would have been enough. Ultimately, it ended up being an unpleasant experience.

I went to watch one of my friends perform here, I paid ten dollars to get in only to find out that they overbooked. My friends didn't even get a chance to perform which was very disappointing. This place has no respect for the musicians from the other reviews I've seen, and this seems to be a running theme as this has allegedly happened twice to my friends. It was also last minute that they found out, so they unpacked thier stuff only to repack it due to having to leave. I'm quite disappointed.

To avoid for musicians / bands...
As a musician, my experience in this room was frankly disappointing. The lack of communication and chaotic organization make it an unwelcoming place for artists. The load-in was supposed to be at 5 p.m., but we found ourselves in front of a closed door, without any information. Someone finally arrived after about fifteen minutes – already, things aren’t off to a great start.
Their model is to separate the evening into two distinct events. We were part of the first event with 4 bands, but it appears they only had three – and no support or compromise was offered to remedy the situation.
Among the 4 groups, 2 of them traveled from Ontario especially for this evening, and some of us had to condense our set to only two songs.
The only star I give is for the sound technician, who also seemed very confused about the situation.
N.B: After discussing with other musicians, we realize that this is not the first time that this type of incident has happened. very disappointing.

As a friend of several artists, I can undoubtedly say that the organization of events is very chaotic. The artists’ time slot is not always respected. Last time, four months ago, the lineup said that my friend DJ should play at 11. Finally he started at 00.45, he played very little and all his spectators had already left. It was very unpleasant.
