Lovely bar with a great vibe and music. Absolutely loved my time there with some friends as we were very well taken care of. A big shout out to our bartender Jackson (AKA Johnny AKA Scotty) who is a very charming and talented bartender, we had a great time!

Tiktok has clearly made this bar a must but, even if the service is excellent, the cocktails are filled with water and ice cubes, therefore not very tasty. The place is super noisy so not great for an intimate moment, even if the setting suggests otherwise.

Hidden gem! This is a definite do not miss while in Montreal. We had the pleasure of stumbling upon this cocktail bar with amazing vibes, staff and cocktails. Jess the manager went above and beyond to make our experience top notch, so good we visited twice. Can’t wait to get back to Montreal and our now fav spot, Le Mal Necessaire?

This place is fantastic with some of the best service in Montreal. I was in from Toronto and stopped in before heading out for the night. The DJ was spinning groovy vinyl and my server turned out to be the bar manager. Not only did she make recommendations based on my drink preferences but once she founded out I was looking to come back with friends she helped insure we could get a spot, then her and the bartender invented drinks for us based on our preferences and hand wrote us note to help us get into another hot spot.This place is a must stop for anyone coming from out of town and it puts most Toronto louges to shame.
I was there yesterday with a few friends and the girl who was working as the server yesterday was RUDE. I had paid for my drinks with a credit card and had the tip on the table for her. She saw that I didn't pay a tip on the card, so she loudly asked me - "and how was the service? Did you like your drink???" In a loud rude manner and the other tables could hear and even my friends. This behavior is unacceptable and at this point I'm thinking, I should not have tipped her for this behavior. I was embarrassed, angry and NOT having a good time. My friends were shocked too. We were waiting for a friend to come in, so we had to stay there feeling very uncomfortable. The server asked if we wanted another drink, I was shy and feeling vulnerable at this point and didn't want to order because I didn't know if she would now spit in my drink and serve me. Then, after my friends ordered another drink, I did too and then tipped her from my credit card. I didn't want to be yelled at for coming from a different city and hanging out with friends. She said " we, here in Canada, not sure where you're from, but we do tip here". This comment didn't sit very well with me. I was almost in tears and shocked and throughly disappointed for this moment. I am not recommending this place, but all the other men bartenders were nice. I was literally threatened by this white probably brunette server on the night of 17th February around 9 pm that I tip her.

Drinks are awsome. They dont have food but they will get you from the restaurant next door. Drinks are special, service is good and friendly .Music was good but a bit too loud for a place were you are supposed to sit and talk. Overall its a great place to have nice cocktails ? ? ??
