Was my first visit to their new space (they just reopened and expanded) and I was blown away. Beautiful, sophisticated design, but still feels intimate and low key. Staff were fun and friendly; drinks were fresh, interesting/unique and stiff.
Loved the vibe overall and definitely worth making a detour for - it's a great spot for a date, to hang with friends, or to entertain business colleagues/clients.

Nico was by far the best server i’ve ever had! He’s so attentive to detail in order to recommend the best drinks to your liking. I’d fully recommend the experience.

Bar Le Mal Nécessaire is a great little bar that recently moved to a larger location in downtown Montreal. They offer an extensive drink menu, including unique options like Froot Loops shots and the strong ginger-based Big Fun in Little China cocktail, which even comes with a fortune cookie. The bar has a lively atmosphere, with a DJ on some nights and plenty of comfortable couches for guests to relax. Customers praise the knowledgeable staff who provide excellent drink recommendations, and the menu is designed like a zine with information about drinks and drink history. The décor and ambiance are absolutely stunning, creating a perfect vibe for a chill night out or a date. While the atmosphere is on the darker side and drinks may take a little time to arrive, all the cocktails are immaculate tasting, creative, balanced, and beautifully presented.
