Bar Otto delivered an incredible dining experience. The service was attentive and warm, and the ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. We had the karaage and the chirashi here, along with drinks. The karaage was lovely, and for the price, the chirashi had a good amount of sashimi on top of a bed of rice. The only thing I’d complain about is the strong garlicky taste of the fish in the chirashi. There isn’t supposed to be a garlic taste in chirashi whatsoever - I’m assuming it was to mask the fishy taste or possibly smell? But I’d prefer lemon or something else, not garlic, as it was a bit overpowering....
Unassuming from the outside. Cozy, laid back, simple, yet sophisticated on the inside. We walked in late on Saturday night and grabbed a table. We had already had dinner, so didn't have much of an appetite and was there for some drinks and dessert. The menu looked good, so we ordered a couple of appetizers.
