I ordered the seppia pasta, and it was a huge disappointment. The texture was all wrong— the flavour good but the paste was almost jelly-like and far from what a good pasta should be. The bread was $4 and I was ok with that but they served a 4 pieces of cold bread with olive oil. I came here for the good reviews but I think this place needs to improve their food or maybe it was not a good day for them and I just happened to be there…

As an Italian, I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I was thoroughly disappointed. The pasta was far from al dente and had a strange texture—definitely not authentic Italian quality. The flavors were bland and uninspired, making the entire meal a waste of money. If you're looking for genuine Italian cuisine, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. Unfortunately, this place does not live up to the hype.

Great place to go if you can get a table. It’s worth waiting for.
We all loved everything we ordered. We started with the fried calamari. Crispy and tasty batter. Tender calamari. Nice cocktail sauce. Good size portion.
Our mains:
Wild boar pasta
Spaghetti puttanesca
Cod with zucchini risotto
Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti
Spaghetti with meatballs
Spaghetti with just cheese and butter.
Everything was delicious. Big portions so we had plenty of leftovers today.
The salad and minestrone soup were both good.
The service was excellent. Fast without being hurried. Sharp waitress.

Dietary restrictions: They accommodated plain pasta.

Parking: Best to walk here

We are group of 4, ordered Nero Seppia, Bolognese, Tartufata and Ravioli di Gamberi. Food is so delicious, service is great. Nice neighborhood with parking spaces right outside the restaurant.

I recently visited Bistro Amerigo with my boyfriend, and while I was excited to try it based on all the good things I'd heard, the experience left me with mixed feelings. The restaurant is super small and doesn’t take reservations, so we ended up waiting about 30-45 minutes to be seated. As soon as we sat down, someone came to take our order before we even had a chance to look at the menu. We ordered a glass of wine each, along with the meatballs, octopus, and cavatelli barese pasta (with Italian sausage and broccoli), which came with either a soup or salad as a side. Both entrees and the wine arrived within about two minutes of ordering, which felt a bit rushed. The meatballs were amazing, and the octopus was good, though slightly chewy. The pasta was also delicious and tasted authentic—I even ended up taking the leftovers home. While the food was generally impressive and felt true to its Italian roots, the pace of the service made the meal feel rushed, and it was clear they wanted to turn over tables quickly—we were in and out within 40 minutes. The place itself has a really cool vibe, but the rushed atmosphere kind of took away from the experience for me.

We had an amazing dining experience, thanks to Nita, who was incredibly helpful and super friendly!

For starters, we enjoyed the Polpette di Amerigo and the Mozzarella di Bufala. For our main dishes, we had the Gnocchi Funghi e Tartufata and the Ravioli di Gamberi e Vongole. To finish off, we indulged in two delicious tiramisus for dessert.

Everything was homemade and absolutely delicious! I would give six stars if I could !!

Small quaint place and full of people. Obviously a well known place in the area as a lot of people seemed to be regulars. Food and service was good. Salads included in your order ! I'd go back.
