Buboy Reviews
Our favourite carinderia food in the Philippines was always LANKHA. On the day I visited BUBOY, Lankha was the veg. dish of the day ! It was meant to be ! The talented chef had substituted the greens with Taro leaves, which gave the dish extra smoothness. The rice was well done, and extra spiciness was optional. GREAT FOOD and affordable, unlike MANY restaurants these days....
Tasty food inside the old mall. It's Philippino cuisine so they're mostly fried (very crunchy and tasty) so it might not be a great choice for healthy diet
Came here recently, food was delicious and affordable. I'd say out of all the Filipino restaurants I've enjoyed so far, this one gets extra points as they really try to go the extra mile and bring the flavours out. I wish them success so they can become a bigger restaurant!

Buboy is a Filipino restaurant in Montreal known for its delicious dishes and friendly staff. Chef Eric creates Filipino flavors, such as the unique Bulalo Pares and Loco Gang sauce. The OG Bulalo and Oxtail with rice are must-tries, offering authentic taste with a twist. The restaurant also features dishes like silog plates, crab ragoons, and sinigang, which are highly recommended and bring traditional Filipino flavors with a modern touch. The rice is well done, and extra spiciness can be added for those who enjoy heat. Despite limited seating, the welcoming service and flavorful food make it worth visiting for a genuine Filipino experience. The restaurant also offers homemade ice cream, adding to its appeal. This cozy little spot is tucked away on a corner but serves some of the most delicious Filipino dishes that will make you want to return. The friendly staff, quick and polite, enhance the overall experience. Though not the biggest or fanciest, Buboy proves that simple places can deliver the best meals, making it a hidden gem worth exploring. Overall, Buboy delivers a fresh take on Filipino cuisine that is both traditional and innovative.
