Our favourite carinderia food in the Philippines was always LANKHA. On the day I visited BUBOY, Lankha was the veg. dish of the day ! It was meant to be ! The talented chef had substituted the greens with Taro leaves, which gave the dish extra smoothness. The rice was well done, and extra spiciness was optional. GREAT FOOD and affordable, unlike MANY restaurants these days....
Visiting from the states and highly recommend if you’re in the area. No frills, counter service and AMAZING! Everything we ate was exceptional. I’d highly recommend the chicken and coconut milk soup. It was truly something that will live rent free in my head for a long time.
The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly.
