THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED. We had booked for a birthday, a group of 7. Everything worked online, the reservation was confirmed but once there we realized that the restaurant is closed indefinitely. It really sucks to close but let reservations run without warning.

The food and service was OK but it is no longer the great Valois of old although the decor is the same. In terms of cuisine, the dishes seemed less sophisticated and less balanced. In terms of service, we did not feel the same attention as in our previous visits. In terms of the general appearance of the place we feel that there is a sort of letting go, we pay less attention to the small details.

I've been living in the area for quite some time and always wanted to try this place, even though we can barely notice it.
I finally did tonight, and I am very disappointed. Food is quite expensive for what it is, and not even good. 3 small goat cheese fried nuckets for $16? Come on! I also took the $24 burger, very disappointing. It doesn't taste much and something was very furry in my mouth, couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe the extra $3 bacon!
We also shared a peach sangria... not bad but it basically tasted like juice, not sangria. Bummer.
I wouldn't recommend this place. And I think that's a shame, because the location is great and the patio is quite big and enjoyable.

Had an overall decent experience. The green salads are good but we all know it's a 2$ salad made into a 8$ salad but again it's good. The AAA burger was 24$ with fries but, it was excellent and well priced. The beef tartar was okay but nothing to call home about.
Reserve for 8 p.m. on a Wednesday. Arriving at 7:55 p.m. to a barred door and an employee who obviously wanted to finish early. Thank you, Le Valois! We went somewhere else... And we'll go somewhere else next time too.

I've been to this place twice. The first time, I had the shrimp risotto and it was very disappointing. It was bland and had no flavor. The second time, I ordered the burger, but for the price, it was very basic and the meat had a strange taste, dominated by garlic. I even almost got sick later that night. Each time I visited, I was with a group of people and they also had issues with their food. However, the positive aspect of this place is the service: the staff is friendly, quick, and the cocktails are good.

Big shortcoming on the part of our server... It took almost 20 minutes to get glasses of water then another ten minutes to order the cocktails. No feedback on our appreciation of the dishes or offer to recommend drinks. The server was excessively in the personal space of the members of our table.Blatant confusion when taking orders and lack of communication between the various members of the team responsible for our service.Additionally, the quantities were ridiculous for the duck breast and some other dishes. (Two thin slices of halloumi accompanied by 2 cherry tomatoes for $16) The food was overall very good.Far too expensive to pay for poor service and not having enough to eat.There is room for improvement. I unfortunately do not recommend
