I know most of us don’t now live in my old hood but when I tell you that you have to make your way to St Michel to have one of their sandwiches, it’s sooo worth it. Small mom and pop shop have simple but have great tasting sandwiches and is a butcher shop as well. Do yourself a favour and try it at least once and if Michele is there say Lino sent you lol totally recommend
Best Porcetta we ever had (and we have had very good ones in France and Italy). Bought the whole piglet (deboned and stuffed with more pig) and roasted it on a spit for 6 hrs. Would have been enough meat for 75 people - we were only 50! Absolutely delicious - comment made by all. Many thanks for this beautiful discovery.
