It’s very good and amazing service but they are actively pro trump :( when trump won they gave free cookies in a « trump » bag won’t be going back even if use to go twice a week

Weird flex to advertise they support Trump. And pastries are overly sweet and very 'from the box' flavours. There's much better places in town for amazing Jewish treats.

This is by far our favourite bakery in Montreal. It was an awesome experience bringing Chris “The Babka King” in for some delicious treats. We tried a lot of different desserts. The one that is our absolute favourite is the Chocolate Russian Babka.

I adore old-world bakeries and have several favorites all over the country. I stumbled on Cheskie, and it smelled heavenly inside, and I felt like I had hit the jackpot! I bought $30 worth of goodies (which buys you a lot here), and I was giddy to try them all. I truly wanted to love this place, but the truth is, I ended up throwing away every single item after a couple bites (except one—the jam sandwich cookie was marvelous). Everything was kind of flavorless, and their black-and-white cookie wasn’t even as good as the ones you can buy at grocery stores in New York. Their chocolate babka really broke my heart, it was so doughy in the center we had to throw out the whole loaf. :(

Love this place !!! If you have a sweet tooth definitely a place you need to stop by. In the other hand the customer service is not very friendly your always rushed and I always get the feeling that the ladies are stressed out .!!

The baked goods are very good. Amazing babka! Also, i got a little chocolate thing that I thought was a brownie with nuts, and it was so much better than I thought it would be. It was mostly chocolate and had some salty peanuts in it. I wish i had gotten more than one.
This place has the most delicious ? desserts if I have the opportunity to go again definitely ? I’ll go. It’s a must to visit and try the variety of desserts that they have.
