This particular première moisson has a lemon square cake that I love. Their pastries are always fresh, and the location looks like an older place which I like a lot. Unlike the côte-des-neiges location which is more modern, which I also like.

The staff are friendly and professional. They know their products well enough to explain them to you if it's your first time. Allergies and dietary restrictions are taken into consideration with many of their food items, just ask the staff they'll inform you.

Very good bread and service

The service at this place is quite poor. I stood In the back waiting to be served and was completely ignored by two employees , one of whom was serving someone else when I arrived and then did not return to the back, while another was arranging items in the showcase and never even looked at me. Finally someone came over and took my order adding, by the way you are supposed to order from the front that's why no one came, I answered that I had always ordered from here in the past and he said no that is not the procedure in a none too friendly tone. I am not imagining things, I had always been served from there in the past. and no one ever suggested to me that I was in the wrong or I would have not done it again. I guess I was supposed to be happy that this person at least came over to me, but I did not like his attitude like he was doing me a big favour, at least once he finally came over I received my order promptly, why did one of the other people not at least tell me to please go to the front instead of letting me stand there. If they are unable to communicate then put up a sign. Very poor customer service makes someone not want to return.

Great place to have a bite. Good salad and sandwich choices. Their bread is terrific and they also sell pies that look hard to pass up.

I have been French in Montreal for less than a year, I live 20 minutes from the bakery and I discovered them by chance while walking with my family. I can tell you that this will be the last time I go lol. We entered the reception was cold. 2 out of 3 employees pulled a face 🙉 we must not forget that every job is difficult, but when you deal with customers all day long, it is a duty to be smiling or at least more friendly. You represent the places...Otherwise change jobs, it may not suit you!! My husband and I agreed that the welcome was not great otherwise the bakery was good the pastry a little less although we had the classics. Good luck to the team

I know the prices are generally too high .but these prices are unreasonable .the quality is good .
