Nice atmosphere. Decent customer service. But their menu is overpriced. I paid $6 for the "ourson erable" which ended up being a basic latte i could've made at home. Nothing maple about it except the little sprinkles of carmel they put ontop. They also sprinkled what i'm guessing was wafer pieces which got all soggy and sunk to the bottom of my cup. My bill came to $12 for a medium latte with a muffin and 15% tip. Other coffee shops on or around Monkland so I won't be missing...read full review

Columbus Café is a coffee shop focused on fast service with an acceptable level of consistency. The coffee is great, with specific praise for the espresso and the simply filter coffee, recommended with little cream and little honey in a ceramic cup. However, a strict policy banning dogs, even for quick grab-and-go orders, has disappointed some regular customers. While throughput is a focus, some freshness can be compromised. Overall, it is a fantastic place to visit.
