The name of this place gives it a big reputation, Briskets Montréal and so we did what the name stated, ordered brisket with fries. Portion was fair for the price tag (it's more expensive than normal) but it is a deconstructed brisket sandwich with the brisket and fries on side, bread, pickle and coleslaw on the other, you have to construct it yourself. We were one of the 2 customers there during lunch time and it was odd. Service was still sluggish even though there were only 2 of us. There were random customers who came here to get stuff to go but that didn't justify the sluggish service. Nevertheless, it is still slightly acceptable. The brisket was somewhat dry, unfortunately this was the second pastrami or brisket we had and the previous one we had was really really good, even thought it was to go, and eaten at the train station. Bread provided was not enough for the brisket. Fries was adequate enough to keep full. All in all the balance was off, price point high and taste was average at best.

It was a quiet night so I had much of the restaurant to myself. The waiter was very helpful. When I couldn't decide between the Brisket sandwich and the Brisket Poutine he offered to make a small size order of the Poutine to go with my sandwich! For the win!

Was ignored by the staff. Left after it was clear I was never going to be sat or served. I will never try this place again.

The smoked meat is great, the waiter was pretty funny.

So where to start ... not easy to find because honestly from the outside it looks like a little 'babouette' ..BUT GO!! GO FOR IT!!! AND GO BACK!!The +:- The interior is super big, lots of room (plus when we went there it was almost empty)- The server was just super nice and helpful as possible!- Well you're waiting for him, when's the food? Well we have only one word to say: Sublime!!You can choose the cut of your meat, so the amount of fat in it.The meat is succulent and melts in your mouth, the homemade fries are perfectly cooked and super good, the coleslaw is a treat! The quantity is more than enough even for a big eater like me!I have nothing but praise for this restaurant!THE -:-uh ..... the fact that he does not deliver in France? The conclusion is quite simple, I recommend it 200% and it's even a must, to do absolutely!I will definitely be going back there when I return to Montreal! Value for money is giving .. Thank you for this delicious moment!

Typical cuisine, reception of groups or families, friendly atmosphere!

Unfortunately, we were ALONE on a Friday night and still had to wait like I never did before. 15-20 minutes for a drink, over an hour for our plates...that's simply not acceptable...again, unfortunate because the food was good and our waiter doing his best.

The person Daniel is very unfriendly. He doesn't speak too much English and has a bias towards Chinese customers. Impatient and rude. I will never come here personally.

Service can be a bit long during lunch time, but the smoked meat poutine was very good.

Cold sandwich. Slowest service ever. Very expensive for what you get. Its a dinner with the pretension of being a restaurant.

Group restaurant to enjoy a Montreal specialty, a smoked beef sandwich reminiscent of American pastrami.
The meat is excellent, tender and full of flavor. The sandwich as a whole is very good!!! Served with homemade fries.

It's the big return of the best poutine around! Nice reopening. Well done.
