Cadet Reviews
Excellent menu!!
Bouffe excellente. Service médiocre et non courtois.

Cadet serves innovative, flavorful dishes in a lively atmosphere that is perfect for sharing a meal with friends or a date. Its location next to Place des Arts makes it convenient for before-show dining. The menu features small plates like snow crab, duck breast, gnocchi, broccoli, oyster mushrooms, scallops, and cauliflower, with the cod being a favorite among diners. Guests appreciate the friendly and efficient service that helps them reach their events on time. The restaurant's website is simple and old-fashioned, and the menu is not always up to date. The chef puts a lot of effort into preparing dishes, such as removing scales and bones from fish, resulting in well-executed meals. Some dishes, like the deep-fried sea bass, are very tasty, though the presentation may include raw cabbage at the bottom, which can be disappointing. Cadet maintains a cozy, family-friendly vibe, where noise from kids and lively diners is common. It offers gluten-free options with clear communication, and the portions are reasonable for the price, making it a worthwhile visit before enjoying a show at Place des Arts.
