About Poincaré Chinatown

Poincaré Chinatown is a restaurant and bar with a festive atmosphere, featuring a vintage handrail with lion supports and a bustling crowd. Known for its lacto-fermentation, the famous fermented fries and other zesty flavored fusion dishes are a hit. The selection of good beers and drinks is impressive, including their famous Kolsch and unique concoctions. The small plates are perfect for sharing, and the dark, lively atmosphere encourages conversation. The restaurant does not feel like a formal cafe or restaurant, which adds to its charm. It's a great spot to observe the night surge of Laurent and a pleasant place to return for a calm, enjoyable experience, especially for colleagues looking for a break from the city center's trendy bars.

Poincaré is recognized as one of the best bars in Montreal, offering quality food and a friendly staff that provides excellent advice, especially on wine. The restaurant has a great selection of beer and wine, making it a nice vibe for an evening date, with friends, or even solo. Good vegan options are available as well. The ambiance is contemporary and refined, with a large dining room featuring neutral colors and a cozy terrace with picnic tables. The diverse menu contains tempting dishes, and the culinary creativity is notable, making it a precious spot to visit as a group. The restaurant also has good parking available.
