The food was overpriced and served cold (kebab, rice,..). Chicken kebab was tough, not cooked and lacked flavor.

The bread was stale, and the lady who took our order made mistakes repeatedly by bringing us the wrong dishes. Do not recommend.

I ordered the classic breakfast with pancakes, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming

Had beef kebab for takeout, and was very disappointed by the quality, especially for the price. The meat was not even properly cooked. I will not return and do not recommend.

Tried their beef kebabs and not recommending. The quality is not good, it’s very chewy. The rice is also watery !
Service was good though but …

Dont be surprised they charge you additional $5 if you take some tea&cakes and no food. Ridiculous! Never again

I got sabzi polo mahi It was very tasty, the waiter was very warm and nice, but the service was very long. The space is very tight and there are many seats and it is difficult to move

Farsi at the end:
Best Persian restaurant in Montreal. And I've tried them all. The food, the ambience, the service, everything was amazing. The one and only.

Undoubtedly, the best Iranian restaurant in Montreal from all points of view. Food, service, ambience, price, location...

We live nearby and had been walking by Café Toranj for months so we finally decided to give it a try and the place surpassed our expectations. Delicious Iranian food, very nice staff, some lovely live music to accompany our meal, we couldn't have been happier with our evening. As newly arrived immigrants, the waiters and cooks are not fluent in french but they will do their best to explain the menu and make your evening enjoyable. As a group of 10 people, we appreciated their flexibility and openness. The atmosphere is nice, although it could be slightly improved with better/dimmer/warmer lighting in certain parts of the restaurant.

Vegetarian options: It's really hard to find traditional Persian dishes prepared with Vegeterian alternatives but they had some great options.

Kid-friendliness: Our 3 year old daughter really enjoyed the place and there was room for her to walk around and play, the staff was also very flexible, tolerant and understanding. We felt welcomed as a family.
