A hidden, inconspicuous gem in Montreal. I ordered an aubergine lentil wrap which was freshly made and tasted delicious. Immediately I got offered a sample of some tasteful soup which I have to try next time! Nouri is a very pleasant and welcoming host, always down for a little chat.
This little canteen in the des pins lofts is an unassuming place for an arabic lunch. It is an example of why I love Montreal, because I couldn't picture it being replicated in any other Canadian city. I get the chickpea-patty pita with a sprig of mint.

My dear friend treated me to a delicious lunch Chez Nouri today, and I am still thinking about it. Nouri welcomed us warmly with a taste of his daily soup, which was like warm hug - so many flavors and fragrances mingling to delight the senses - I had to order us a bowl to share.
