Raspberry chocolate muffins on Friday morning with an excellent caramel Dalla rose - yumm!

We go in because this coffee was marked as a pet friendly place. One of the person at the counter agreed and nodded we got our order sat quietly and our dog was sleeping quietly and we were at the far end corner of the cafe. Almost no customers. We were told, after 30ish min to get out since no dog were allowed. I'm not sure what happened. There was a rude and bitter guy saying "I've been in the industry, no dogs are allowed in restaurants...". Anyway. too bad

Arthurs Nosh Bar and Cordova enjoy a symbiotic relationship. If you show up at the first place and have to wait, we will ask you to cross the street and go to the second place to have a coffee and we will call you as soon as your turn comes. For my part, I followed the opposite route. I enjoyed my waffles at the Jewish restaurant and sat down at the second one, warm and quiet, holding a cup of eggnog latte by the handle while I wrote these few lines. It must be said, the coffee offering is much more attractive at Cordova and its peaceful character and slow-paced music invite relaxation and conversation between two heads. Speaking of my head, I need to correct my posture immediately; my neck is starting to send me signals of displeasure. What's more, here you won't feel rushed to free up space.(Ironically, as soon as I finished describing the serenity of the Cordova, a trio of friends began a loud conversation a few feet from my table. The decibel level went up a notch and drowned out the music . Suddenly, a desire to leave arose within me. Well, can you blame people for being boisterously merry? After all, it's almost Christmas, by Toutatis.)I brought up the issue of coffee in relation to the Nosh Bar, but let there be no mistake. The Cordova obviously has its own value with its tiled tables, its slightly veiled light globes and its excellent drinks offer. Like the holiday atmosphere, I myself will indulge in extravagance by telling you that the employee behind the counter, dressed in her best Christmas sweater, has magnificent sparkling azure eyes.P.S.By consulting an article on Tastet supposedly updated on April 24, 2023, we present Cordova as a Spanish café serving tapas and coffees equipped with, and I quote, “a small, totally seasonal menu of magnificent tasty and local dishes”. I therefore regret to inform you that there is no trace of tapas for many years. On the other hand, they show you plump croissants from Hof Kelsten.Vegetarian options: Yes, and options with oat milk.Parking: On rue Thérien, you can find free places, except Mondays.Kid-friendliness: Not really, you come for a coffee, there isn't much to snack on.Wheelchair accessibility: Small drop in height, but enough space inside.
An employee made my coffee on Monday December 11, 2023 SUPER rude, I asked if there were sockets for my computer she said a NO so sharp I said ok thank you she doesn't answer, I say again THANK YOU she doesn't answer, I look at her I say thank you she says café latte oat milk is availableAnd I look at her I say, haven’t you heard?Honestly a rough Monday morning with meBut with the other customers who came.. super normal even nice.. interestingFirst time and definitely last time hereI only took a latte and a croissant and I was the only one in the cafe shop because their card payment machine didn't work

The chai latte's cardamom flavour was too strong for my preference. The vanilla latte is great though.Would give a 3.5 star if possible.

If you like coffee this is the best we found in Montreal. The croissants were pretty good too.

Excellent coffee vibe and staff. Wish the wifi was better so I could actually work there sometimes...
