I ordered the iced tea and almond flavors. They did taste like their flavors but I would say the shop is a bit overhyped. Maybe it's because I went by in the summer and lots of people were looking to chill down, but the quality and flavor is no where near the best I've had. Service is excellent though.

Walked in to the employee nagging, asked for suggestions, received attitude in return! Didn’t get a tester even though we asked. Wanted 2 ice creams only given one, and then they responded oh we didn’t think you both want ice creams!

Well, I see all you 5 stars out there. For anyone who has no intolerances or allergies, yes, this place deserves 5 stars.

But I am deathly intolerant to soy. I asked them if there was soy in their products. They assured me there was not. There is. Their vegan matcha definitely does. Soy is in the ingredient list on their pre-ready jars in that freezer on the side.

And yesterday, I asked for their blueberry sorbet, they said there wasn't any soy. I was extremely sick immediately after eating it. So, either there is soy in all their products, or there is definite cross-contamination. It is not the first time I am sick from eating their products. So for people who are as intolerant as I am: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My partner and I visited their establishment on a lovely evening after a fantastic day out and about in Montreal in August 2025. My partner and I thought it was a great idea to try their ice cream or gelato for the first time. As it seems it was such a popular place to visit. I was super excited to try their product. The young man was not very welcoming. Customer service was a 1 out of 10. No salutations were given. I then proceeded to ask what their flavours were. As it is not indicated in front of each ice cream/gelato nor on the protective glass in front. He proceeded to point at the menu just above his head. They have non-traditional flavours(such as corn). I then asked which are gelatos and which are ice cream. His tone and response was off putting to say the least. It’s clearly indicated on their advertisement outside the building that they sell both. I had to ask what each flavours were. We still ordered 2 scoops with1 flavour each. To be honest, the one my partner had was very tasty. Mine, not as much. The cost was out the roof. Imagine, $25 dollars for 4 scoops of ice cream, unheard of. I will sincerely never return.

Overpriced and too pretentious for its own good. They made sorbet so sour that we had the first time experience of tossing ice cream to garbage.

Absolutely love their ice creams! The lineups are long at times but totally worth it especially after the deliciousness you will receive! A little pricey but the quality is there! It’s my go to spot for ice-cream cravings! Never disappointed!

the corn ice cream was light and refreshing, doesn’t have a strong corn flavour. a little bit on the expensive side

Between a few of us we got to taste the entire selection of flavours. Overall, pretty good. I do appreciate the choice of local products like blueberries from Quebec.
One things that I find works well for other ice cream shops is the service. It’s part of the experience. I think Della Rosa could improve on it. Little tweaks to the service can make better: greeting customers, smiling, suggesting flavours, etc… The service hurts the experience and that’s a shame.

be prepared for a line-up, going all the way to the outside.
super friendly staff. they do give samples happily so you don’t have to feel a typa way about that. got a delicious ice cream sandwich. I put cinnamon on top. The sugar butter cookie is to die for, I took one to go for home. Amazing.
