Service is fast. Got a latte and all I could taste was milk. Tried the dulce de leche and pecan cookie and it wad amazing. The place is very nice and has lots of seating.

Must try!! The hot chocolate and iced latte were both great and there was plenty of intimate/private seating areas. Amazing architecture and decor.

good coffee and small (but good) selection of pastries but amazing environment/vibe. It is such a good place to take a break and enjoy nice architecture.

Imagine showing up to a cafe paying 18$ for a grilled cheese and sitting down to do some work and being told you cant be on your laptop because of tourists. Apparently there is a new policy written god knows where that prohibits you from using a laptop or ipad in a certain seating zone. If you want to work you gotta hide behind this curtained off area so you are not caught in a tourists instagram story. Rude and arrogant staff what a shame this place has become.

Stunning building. Utterly shambolic and poor quality service and food.
Ordered 2 drinks, 2 bagels, 2 yoghurt bowls.
Got the drinks at the counter, tepid heat and they went cold very quickly.
Then had to wait an age for the bagels, which came undercooked and pale. These were cheap, or quality and covered in sesame seeds, not advertised. So many that you couldn’t see the bagel!
The yoghurt bowls eventually came but by this time the bagels and drinks were cold.
There was so much granola, hardly any fruit or yoghurt, and it was impossible to eat as it was dry.
When you do eat, you eat with wooden spoons, knives and forks and stir your cold drink with wooden spoons stick.
It’s a low standard, poor quality food cafeteria which just happened to be set in. Beautiful building.
Give this place a miss and spend your money where the quality is better and you’ll get warm food and service with a smile.
Worst place we visited in Montreal.
The two stars are for the building.

Went on a whim at 9am during the week day and the lines were moving fast . There’s a lot an entire section behind the counter that had more seating if you don’t see anything in the front .
Great coffee , food and ambiance . I enjoyed the chill music playing during the morning rush .
Staff were attentive and friendly :)

This cafe was recommend to me by a local guide. The place was historical and beautiful. Both bagel and coffee was phenomenal. This is such a gem!

You can’t take photos there when you are dressed up. Me and my friends went there to try their cafe and take some photos. We were wearing dresses and the security stopped us. He said we need authorization before we take pictures but ignored other people who are taking photos inside. And their matcha is bad.
