Not only was this the best breakfast I’ve had on this trip, but it was the best meal overall. Delicious food, friendly and kind waiters, and the atmosphere was lively and fun but not overwhelming. We got the ricotta pancakes, fried chicken sandwich, and side of smashed potato fingerlings. Every single item was superb! I’m going to be dreaming about those pancakes for weeks. The chicken was soooo tender. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Highly highly recommend. My only regret is not finding this place sooner during our trip so we could come here more than once!

We had a wonderful meal at Dandy in February 2026. We waited in line for about 30 mins before being seated. Service was prompt and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Would highly recommend and definitely return!

The food is delicious and fresh ingredients that you can taste immediately upon eating. It was busy as we went during brunch time. However there were no delays in service nor in delivering the delicious food and drinks. I was delightfully surprised at the ricotta pancakes, the chicken sandwich and my breakfast dish. I agree with another review that the chicken was a surprisingly scrumptious and juicy. Not to mention the unique coffee. The atmosphere it’s well lit, clean, spacious and welcoming design. My children and I enjoyed it.

I loved their roasted potato , coffee and the interior but the famous pancakes and I (went twice ) were still a Dough and liquidy from the inside both visits !! No strawberries available with it but would go again for the roasted potato

Dandy hands down has the best pancakes ever. While visiting Montreal, I came here every day just for the ricotta pancakes. Make sure to ask for extra syrup it’s buttery and absolutely mouthwatering. The customer service is fast and efficient as well.
