Had a good experience at Dandy in Montreal. I went for lunch during the weekday and it was quite busy. I ordered the halloumi sandwich, an iced tea and a brownie to go. The service was a little slow but that's likely because it was very busy. Lots of options for vegetarians. The brownie was definitely the highlight. Great place to go and enjoy lunch!
I’ll be fair in my review, without skipping details I find important. My first visit to Dandy was excellent—truly flawless. Aside from the wait time (standing outside in the snow), it was a 5-star experience. The space is cozy and beautiful, though to me it feels a bit generic, pulling together several “trendy” elements rather than having a distinct personality. I was surprised to see a lineup at 9:30 on a Sunday. We were seated very quickly by our enthusiastic server. Everyone enjoyed their generous meals and tasty coffee drinks.
