We used to go to this place since it first opened for dinners , friends’ birthdays , and clubbing since years for a good time ! Recently , the staff at the door / entrance are super rude and unfriendly, agressive and make people wait in line forever for no reason. No hospitality, sometimes they oblige you to buy a bottle if you want to get in, if you are just simply two people! Most times it gets way too crowded while it’s a very small place ! I do not Recommend this place . So many better options, and it is where you get treated right and with respect.

We had a great night at Flyjin. Such a fun spot with incredible food. The miso black cod was an highlight, as were the tuna maki. The fish was very fresh. Our servers were very attentive and we loved the music. We will absolutely come back when we visit Old Montréal.

Friendly staff, good vibes, food was amazing Just take note that you'd require a minimum of 2 bottles for a bar table for the whole night

Terrible service and there no way to get in unless you know someone(since you can't actually make reservations) not to mention the bouncer treats you like trash, and expects you to beg, very dehuminizing. Not worth the wait when you do get inside.

Japanese fusion izakaya with 2 dinner sittings that turns into a trendy after-hours club with DJs.

Possibly the worst place in I've gone to party in Montreal. Service was terrible and the servers try to force you to tip over the normal 15%. If you want to go somewhere that's worth it's price go to anywhere else.

Just wanted to say the evening bday of my 2 friends was lovely and it's so worth going back :P Jesse (our waitress) was incredible! Service was outsanding. They were even 2 nice treats for the 2 bday boys. Music was good and the whole service the rest of the night was just great ! Thanks a lot to Jam's team for this unforgettable evening. See you definitely soon xoxoxo

This was an absolute catastrophe. Had table service booked for over a month and was guaranteed a price and security that if we were to book a table on the floor that there would be security to ensure that other patrons would not try to take our products and impede on our paid space. Not only was there an obnoxious couple that intentionally put their drinks on our table, the staff would only come around every hour or so and had no regard for the other patrons that essentially ruined our evening. We had a great time and refused to complain until the end of the night when it was simply uncomfortable. At which point, the staff did not appreciate the situation and simply wrote it off. I would highly not recommend this place, despite the good music, the service and staff were sub par.

We were a group of 5 mid-30's professionals wanting to grab a drink and discover a new place in Montreal . We decided to go to Flyjin and were refused access because we didn't have women with us as if we couldn't go out without our wives. Unfortunately for the bar we were coming there with the intent of spend a lot of money to celebrate our friends birthday....another nightclub got our money and treated us accordingly!

Terrible. The bouncers were so rude and they told me I had to pay 50$ to get in on a thursday. My friend paid and they didn’t let him in. Finally I got into the empty place and it was simply terrible

Visited this place recently with some work colleagues for a huge celebratory dinner. The access is a bit clandestine, having entered through an alley and bypassing a mammoth dumpster. Once inside, you are greeter by low ceilings and not much lighting. We ordered the chicken dumplings to start, among other items. Delicious! As was the Summer salad - on point! Great option for gluten free folks. For my main, I ordered the braised ribs Korean style. They were divine and so tender - huge portion (shareable). But that's all you get on the plate - meat. No rice, noodles or any other sidekicks. We were supposed to have veggies and agree much prodding to the busboy and waitress, the famous veggies made an appearance, more than 10 minutes after we had received the ribs. Copious amounts of bok choy burnt up and served in a crockery bowl. Enough for me and my colleague to share. Very odd how the ribs are presented. My other colleague had the Filet mignon skewers and they were fantastic. As was the crab sushi wrapped in tempura - hit it out of the Park. The service was great - the waitress made suggestions when asked. Water refills were done in the right amount of time. After being there for over 3 hours, I can say that the bathrooms by the time I left - needed a major TLC revamp. I didn't taste the desserts, but they looked quite mouth watering. I would revisit this place for sure!

be careful not to come to this place especially if you are tourists because it takes your credit card before going inside and then forces you to consume with a scheme of which you have not even idea. at the beginning you take a few things and if you want to leave and they consider that it is not enough it forces you to take again until it judges that they have made enough profit on you because you have a table and they is a minimum to spend !!!. I have never experienced such a situation in 30 years, and I never take the time to comment on a restaurant even if the place is not good but I had to say it because it is untaxable. by the way too many people for such a small space, and almost no light to see people. too much better place to choose this place. what you see on the picture is only a dream

My GF and I had cocktails, appetizers and sushi here. It's a modern sushi restaurant & bar with a lively atmosphere. I had the Zen Buddha cocktail, and she had sake. For appetizers, we shared the Miso baked oysters and pork dumplings. Followed by Yuzu Hamachi Sashimi, Salmon Sashimi, Miso Black Cod and Lobster Tail. Our sushi and seafood was good tasting, plated pretty and was the perfect amount for sharing.

I came to Flyjin club with friends, we had tables reserved and a bottle service. I came into the club and left my coat and my friend’s coat at Coat check, with my wallet and keys (all of my credit cards and IDs inside) in the inside zipper pocket of the coat. While leaving, coat check claimed that my coat was stolen and that all of my belongings were nowhere to be found. Management was unhelpful and uncooperative in helping me find it. I basically got kicked out of the club and told to go home while trying to find my things. I could not go home because I had no keys and no money and was homeless for the night, and I still haven’t received any of my things. I don’t recommend trusting this club or going to this club at all. Worst experience of my life by far.
