Located on St. Paul Street in Old Montreal, Les Pyrénées is an AMAZING restaurant that has been around for over 20 years. The staff is energetic, friendly, and professional, getting guests seated quickly even during a busy night. They took extreme precautions with allergies and offer many gluten free options. The food is outstanding, with the beef cheeks being the best meal some have had in Montreal. Traditional French onion soup was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, while the wild boar was delicious and the cassoulet was delicious and hearty with in-house sausage. A mango spritzer was very tasty. The atmosphere, service, and overall dining experience are all top-notch. The staff even made a special plate for a toddler and brought a bowl of water for a dog. A MUST if visiting Montreal, this restaurant is well worth the walk and highly recommended for a memorable evening.
