“Excellent bar to dance latin music. The dj plays great songs, we had a blast!! We are from Colombia and this is the best dj we have found in montreal so far that plays good latin party music. There is enough space to dance, clean badrooms, good lightning.“
“Very nice and the service was quick, polite and very accommodating.Went for a business event, they made our menu (excellent choices) no thinking needed and serve at the right rythme without making us wait or finish to late.Good way to go out with a client without any fuss.“
“These croquettes are addictive! Fried to order, crispy on the outside and ridiculously creamy on the inside. The service was great, you can tell that they care about their customers. While I was waiting I was offered some of their homemade fermented lemonade which had a refreshing and unique flavour to it.“
“Our first time at La Central and we were very impressed. This restaurant even has table service, which I did not realize was an option here. You sit where you want and just advise them or they may notice you grabbing the menu and head over. The food was really good, we had a variety of dishes and some drinks. You cannot argue with the price either, I assume the overhead is reduced since they are within La Central, so you get a good deal versus a full restaurant. This area doesn't have the best food options, so I'm glad to see this option available for a nice meal and a decent price and there are many others within La Central as the place was quite busy and I have heard good things about many of the restaurants.“
“We were looking forward to coming and tasting authentic Spanish cuisine ever since I heard about it with my family.A most pleasant welcome, a perfect menu that suits all tastesFresh dishes, concocted with love and passion.Gazpacho, a pure delight of freshness and creaminessThe ink paella a first but not last for me.And what can I say to finish with fresh, slightly sweet flan?We appreciated everything even the very very reasonable bill for the quality of the food imported from SpainMuchas Gracias“
“I have been out of Spain for a year and I was looking for food from there, someone recommended this place to me, the truth is that it is very beautiful, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very good. But I must say that the food disappointed me a little, I ordered broken eggs with ham and truffle, I felt the potatoes were very oily (it could be that the oil was not very hot, we arrived early and they were kind enough to serve us anyway) but the egg was scrambled and I haven't seen that anywhere there, in fact I think that gives a very delicious touch to the dish, then I ordered eggplant with honey, it's one of my favorite dishes but I didn't like this one at all, it had little honey and it's The first time I eat it with cream or Greek yogurt, I couldn't say what it is, I must say that that hurt me. On the other hand, the oxtail croquettes and trumpets of death were delicious and we ordered the Basque cheesecake for dessert, it was truly incredible.“
“i’ve been to this venue twice and had a great experience both times. the space is small but is well adapted to different types of shows and performances. the staff is polite and quick and the ambience is very nice. unfortunately the drinks are quite expensive, particularly in contrast with other venues in the city.“
“Early dinner because the restaurant is small, which was fine with us. We tried the tasting menu for two and every course was superb. I was a bit skeptical about some of the wines—no, go with it, they pair beautifully with the dishes. Great neighborhood to hang around, the sommelier was the best.“
“The Chilean empanadas are incredibly delicious. The pastry is perfectly chewy on the inside and a bit crispy on the outside. The filling is generous and ingredients are high quality. They taste just like in Chile. Polite and friendly service speaking French, English or Spanish, not sure what one of those reviews was about. Great little Boulangerie with tasty stuff. They also have a lot of Chilean products for sale. Worth a visit for sure.“
“The only thing is that we had the table above the kitchen and some of the smoke came up. Didn't mind that much smells amazing but we did leave smelling like a bbq. All they need is a 20 in glass band under the mezzanine edge to keep smoke under there. But it is the best restaurant in town regardless“
“Nous avons découvert Mesón grâce à Mtlàtable et nous avons adoré notre expérience. Les plats et l’ambiance sont parfaits. Le service aux tables était irréprochable. Nous allons y retourner. Ils ont de nouveaux clients assurément!“
“Loyal to this restaurant for more than 10 years, Tino & Maria and their staff warmly welcome you to this magnificent restaurant with Spanish decor which makes the experience with the food even more tasty, delicious and on point. Try their multitude of versions of exquisite paella prepared according to the Spanish tradition. You will have the choice of accompanying your dish with one of the Spanish wines from their well-stocked wine list, which has nothing to envy with Italian wines and French wines. The service is fast, efficient and attentive by the staff who ensure that you have the most pleasant and enjoyable time.“
“Most expensive meal in Montreal. Floor to ceiling windows. CAN$9 lentil soup portion size was tiny, and the soup was not as thick as I would have liked. CAN59$ Spanish style fish and seafood parrillada came with 20 mussels, 5 shrimp, 3 clams, several pieces of white fish, along with wedges of potatoes over a ratatouille sauce with a rich tomato taste. Thought this was seafood paella, but didn't come in a pot with crusted rice. Good portion, but the seafood got cold right away. CAN34$ fish of the day was swordfish with vegetables. Delicately flaked white fish, very tender to eat, buttery melt in your mouth flavor. Too small a portion for me -would have starved. Came for Barroco, but the restaurant next door didn't open until 530pm, so we ate here, along with the group on the next door table.“
“The patatas bravas!!! - the tomato sauce is phenomenal and full of garlic.Cod croquettes were soft and a bit bland, the paella was good, but on the wet side. (Also didn’t look exactly like previously posted pictures)All together, a very good price for the amount of food. The restaurant itself has long cafeteria style tables, good for groups. There was live music and a flamenco performance when we came in, it was super fun and authentic, but a bit loud for dinner conversation.“
“We were really totally satisfied, impressed and fascinated with the food, service and atmosphere....thousand points...in every moment and detail of the attention provided by Chef Carmen at Bo' Dégât...we ordered Calamari, Galician Octopus, Spanish omelette and the specialty of the week and for dessert the Ganache....I really am left with the satisfaction of returning again...many congratulations and I recommend it without hesitation!!!! Thank you Carmen...an excellent person!!! And excellent culinary experience!!“
