Lovely date night, loud inside with everyone talking but still enjoyable. The food was really good and the service was amazing. We tried the filet and the Beef Wellington both were tasty

Always tasty, classic steakhouse fare. The New York cheesecake is the best in town. Only downside is the price, somehow $35 for a side plate of mushrooms for 2.

The service and ambiance were excellent. My rib eye steak was at best a 3,5 - on the chewy side, and just not that tasty. I will give them a 2nd chance when next in Montreal, because the rest of the experience was good.

I ordered the rib steak and it was full of fat. I ordered medium and it was raw inside. The salad was soggy. Didn’t seem that fresh. Thanks gibbys.

Beautiful old place with lots of character. Staff were very nice and the service was impressive most of the time but they sadly weren’t on top of filling our waters even though we went later and the restaurant was pretty empty. The food was very good overall, best part was the steak, well season and grilled however I had to send back my steak due to it being overcooked, asked for medium rare and got it medium well, luckily they were quick to rectify this! Overall, the experience was very good! For the price and class of the place I did expect a bit more though, would go again and recommend!

The service and atmosphere are stellar. I went for my birthday and got a complementary cake.
The food: I've had the filet mignon and beef wellington. They were both amazing, cooked to perfection and seasoned wondefully. The only complaint I have is the borderlaise sauce for the beef wellington was too sage-heavy, but the steak, duxelle, and puff pastry were so good sauce was not necessary. The iceberg salad is one of the best salads I ever had, and you can get extra bacon to your liking. The mocktails are sweet and flavorful. The fries were okay, not much seasoning but cooked perfectly.
Our server Klaude was great and I hope to get him as our server next time I go.

J’étais un fan fini de ce restaurant depuis longtemps, très longtemps. J’y sus allé en couple, en famille et avec des collègues à un nombre incalculable de fois. Or, ce restaurant a été vendu et les nouveaux propriétaires ne réussissent pas à garder la vibe. J’y suis allé à 3 reprises depuis et ce fut une déception à chaque fois. Bien que la viande demeure bonne, tout le reste s’est détérioré et le service est devenu plutôt expéditif. À ce prix on cherche plus une soirée relax ce qui suppose que, sans abuser, on aime ça prendre un peu plus notre temps mettons. Aussi, les accompagnements sont négligés. La pomme de terre au four sèche qu’on m’a servi semblait réchauffé de la veille tout comme les 3 minuscules asperges tout aussi desséchées. D’ailleurs Je me demande comment cette assiette à réussi à sortir de la cuisine sans que personne n’intervienne. Finalement, j’ai passé la soirée à m’enfarger dans un tapis usé et déchiré sous la jolie table qui n’aura pas réussi à servir de cache misère. Dommage, j’ai perdu mon restaurant préféré. Aux nouveaux propriétaires, je pense que vous savez ce que vous avez à faire. Bonne continuation mais moi je n’y retournerai plus.
