Visited Gibby’s with my mother who was in Montreal for the weekend from out of town for a festive lunch. The food was impeccable and the holiday ambience was second to none. The real star of the show was our server Sarah who showed us superb hospitality and made our visit to Gibby’s wonderful and memorable. Absolutely worth a visit - I recommend the Steak Diane, which was cooked to perfection.

The beef wellington pastry was raw inside . The twice baked potatoe was very mushy and way to much sour cream mixed in . The waitress was pure excellence, really made the evening. My steak Diane was a little under cooked but overall it was good .

Highly recommend this restaurant! We had the cowboy steak for 2 and it was honestly one of the most tastiest steaks I've had! Our waiter was Vitaly and he made our experience all that much better. When we come back we'll be asking for him for sure.

Tasty, very special place. The atmosphere is absolutely Europe like (if you miss such). Dress and suit are welcomed here. Very pricy, I would say you pay twice more then in any other good steakhouse. Worth wisit, though.

Fantastic food, service, and ambiance. Celebrated a birthday and Gibby’s truly made it such a special occasion to remember. Everyone loved their meals, and Catherine was such a wonderful host. Thank you for the great memories, we will be back soon!
Was hoping for an experience similar to what I had in St-Sauveur location which was great as I recall it. I was surprising my girlfriend tonight, I wanted to take her to the best steakhouse i've been to. The experience in general was not terrible, however for the price paid it was a definitely a disappointment. Ambiance : Very loud restaurant, not the ambiance I was looking for. Do not go there if you're looking for a quiet fancy restaurant. Have I known beforehand, I would have been somewhere else for sure. Comfort : Not sure if it's all the chairs, or only mine. But mine was absolutely uncomfortable after 30 min Food: Salad entrance was questionable in terms of visual and also taste, it looked like it was made a week in advance We took the burrata, although it was good, it looked extremely simple we took the 8oz and 12 oz filet mignon, it was really good but it came closer to cold than warm and im not the type that sends back food to the kitchen, it was also tasteless unless you take the 6$ sauce that was not great either. However The meat was perfectly cooked and the potatoes are the best potatoes I've had. Service: in terms of service, food came out surprisingly fast considering that the restaurant was full. Water refill was terrible, waited close to an hour before someone other than my waiter comes and refills it. And was only asked once if I wanted a refill by my waiter clearly very busy. We also have a waiter fight over a a group of table right next to us, which was entertaining but not necessary to be done next to customers. Waiter told us that the restaurant was under new administration by a big group. I guess it explains the lack of quality in terms of certain aspect of the restaurant Overall: We left stomach full but with disappointment.

Catherine our server went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home at Gibby's. She was personable and extremely nice to our entire family. Would 10/10 go again for the food the steak was amazing and will be asking for Catherine as our server!!!

Great restaurant, food and service. The room was very cold though and it didn't get better during the 90 minutes there.
My wife and her family have been going here for decades. She took me and wow the food here is absolutely incredible.
