Hotel William Grey is the perfect spot right in the middle of Old Montreal. Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, spacious and clean rooms, AMAZING shower, valet serviced parking garage right on premise, great restaurants, a lovely terrace and a coffee shop with one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. The view from our room was absolutely incredible. I can't say enough. HIGHLY recommended!!

Great location. A lovely spot in and of itself - however for the price. Things should be immaculate. I arrived 1 hour after check in - room was not ready. Was simply told “sit over there we will call you”. After a full travel day - this was obviously not ideal. We were tired and hungry. Got to my room - balcony door was broken. It was a small enclave with no view so I didn’t bother calling about it - but did inform them when I checked out. Came back to wet sheets one day after housekeeping. (Proof they were clean I suppose!) Finally - coffee machine in my room was broken which I learned the hard way on my last morning checkout when I wanted a quick coffee before I left. Small things of course - but this is a luxury property so expectations are higher. Can’t really comment on service as nobody interacted with us outside of the valet attendants (who were great). Rooms are surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the action - a definite plus! Worth it if you want to be right in the action of Old Montreal. I will be back in a larger room next week so hopefully things improve a touch!

i found really unapropiate that a luxury hotel charges EXTRA for the 5 mins we used the pool... 60$ After we spent 200$ in massage and 100$ in wine bottle. Oh and we needed tylenol... they charged us for them...

My wife and I recently stayed at the William Gray to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the experience was impeccable, thanks to the extraordinary team who made our stay truly unforgettable.
A special mention goes to Leonie from Concierge Services and her team, who went above and beyond to make every moment magical. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care stood out. Not only did she secure fantastic restaurant reservations and offer thoughtful recommendations, but she also added a creative and personal touch that made our stay unique. After learning about my search for Batman comics, she surprised us with chocolates shaped like the Batman logo! It was such an imaginative and thoughtful gesture that elevated an already luxurious experience.
Beyond the amazing service, the hotel itself is remarkably beautiful (and we absolutely loved the signature scent). The spa's thermal experience was the best we've ever had, and we enjoyed two delicious meals at Maggie Oakes, which were simply fantastic. Even the room service was top-notch, reflecting the elegance and quality that define the William Gray.
Every detail of our stay was thoughtfully executed, and the staff's dedication to creating a memorable experience was evident throughout. If you're looking for a luxurious, personalized, and unforgettable stay in Montreal, I cannot recommend the William Gray enough.
