My wife chose this place knowing that I would love the menu. The food was very good. We had 5 different dishes and they were all very good. But the service was terrible. We were sat on time for our reservation but other than having waters dropped at the table we waited and waited for service, after 25 minutes with no one coming to the table I had to get up to ask for service. Sitting there I could that service was chaotic…you couldn’t tell who was your server…we could see...
We had such a great experience at Ichigo on Friday night! The service, the drinks and the food were all fantastic. Every dish was incredible, but our particular favourites were the Yakisoba noodles and the Yuzu tuna. Definitely recommend for a great Izakaya spot in Montreal.
Their famous ramen is very good, but this restaurant also has amazing side dishes. I had one of the best takoyakis in town. Their karaage is also worth trying. On the other hand, the space isn’t too large, and it is usually pretty crowded inside.
