Isle de Garde - Brasserie

One of my favorite places for beer and food in Montréal. The beer selection is incredible and their european style beers like English ales and their sours are very good. Their fries are a new classic and the fried chicken is top notch. Good friendly service too.

service was very good, hamburger really good, fries not great. As for the gnocchi- I can't believe they charge money for that dish - it was terrible.

Isle de Garde holds a special place for us and has been so since we started regularly visiting in 2019 while on holiday in Montreal. My wife and I started off going there on dates and now we are a family of four on the patio for happy hour and “slush popo” from next door. Been a great destination in every iteration. Great beers, food and service. Great, accessible location. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.

Huge beer list & knowledgeable staff. The menu prices came to a bit of a shock to me as i was expecting a brewpub, but will come back to drink nonetheless.

Honestly, I have no complaints about the drinks or the vibe, both were ok. But the service was incredibly disappointing.

When I first ordered with two of my friends, they received their drinks, but mine never came. After waiting for 20 minutes and following up, I was told (without any apology) that they no longer serve that drink!!
Shockingly, the same thing happened twice more when more friends joined us. Each time, the server waited 20–30 minutes before letting us know that the drink wasn’t available.
I genuinely don’t understand why this information wasn’t given at the time of ordering.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I love the place! But don't get the tartare, it's really not worth it ($19)

Very nice place with very good beers however, last night the experience was ruined by a very condescending and stupid waitress with glasses who made me and my group want to leave to go to another place.
