Really a beautiful neighborhood restaurant, not too noisy, beautiful dishes to share, impeccable service! I really liked that it was people from the kitchen who came to bring you the dishes and explain them to the table. Creative dishes with lots of details, a great culinary experience. Their discovery menu is worth it. Thumbs up for their gluten-free adaptation and their exquisite desserts, all gluten-free from the outset.

We visited as part of Montréal à table and we loved it! The dishes were fresh and delicious, we appreciated the quality of the ingredients. In terms of service, very attentive! Thank you ?

First time since the change.
Pastaga was in my top 5 in Montreal for its value for money, its creative and well-executed cuisine, and its precise service.
Jaja has retained the strengths of Pastaga in terms of cuisine, the dishes are complex and well executed.
Overall we liked our experience, however a certain lack of precision in the service which caused me to remove one star. Perhaps this would have been understandable and excusable if the restaurant had been full, but there were only 2 tables of us all evening.

The hot dishes arrived lukewarm or even cold for some, we had to request a starter ordered and not served as well as the bread. Changes to the cocktail and dessert chosen which were not announced before ordering.
The team, however, offered us coffees to apologize for the situation, it was appreciated, it’s a shame that they were served well before the desserts.

Truly a gem of a restaurant. Impeccable service, personalized and eclectic wine selection and most importantly, the food is delicious, as fresh, simple as it is original. ++ the desserts which are a strong point (think Patrice Patissier quality) and reasonable price for the quality. I highly recommend - we have been there twice and will definitely return.

Great place for really tasty food. Not a place for a very big meal, but the servings are very thoughtful and very very delicious. You should definitely check this place out.

We tried the "tasting" menu, which includes 4 courses of 2 courses each.

Everything was excellent, the dishes are mastered, interesting and fresh. There is attention to detail and a desire to highlight the quality of the ingredients. In addition, the quantity is more than satisfactory. The desserts are worth highlighting. The chefs in the kitchen do a great job.

Our natural wine was also a surprising discovery.

With the humidity of our summers, I would suggest getting air conditioning. And we would have preferred a softer musical atmosphere, especially since the restaurant was quiet.

Otherwise, this restaurant is a great dining experience. It is obviously still little known and the quality of the cuisine deserves greater recognition.

The chef offered us very nice things to eat, with great finesse. On the other hand, the natural wine list is disappointing! I chose a Czech wine (cabernet franc) for $96 excluding tax. He had great potential, but he was green. I thought it would lose its acidity when it opened, but no, too bad.
If you come for the wine, I don't recommend. If you come for the food, come with a heart!
