Amazing sushi! I have an allergy to shrimp and nuts, which has made it impossible for me to find a sushi restaurant with no cross contamination worries. All shellfish is mock and there are no nuts on the menu! Restaurant appears to be under renovation so only the terrace was open. They have fire heaters which added warmth and a nice ambiance given the construction. Will definitely come back!
A Fantastic Dining Experience at Yakimono
I recently visited Yakimono and was thoroughly impressed! The sushi was outstandingly fresh and flavorful, easily some of the best I've had. Paired with their well-made Yaki sauce, it made for a fantastic meal.
Currently, they're sprucing up their interior, so all dining is on their terrace/patio, which is so lovely now with warmer weather.

Excellent service and food however we were surprised to see that the dining room is closed for extensive renovations that will last another 6 weeks we were told. The only seating is in a heated enclosed patio and seating for only 22 people. They should advise this to customers when making reservations. The food was as good as ever.
