Went here for the first time on a recent trip to Montreal as I saw online they had both vegan doughnuts and ice cream. The selection of flavours and toppings was excellent. I decided to try the doughnut ice cream sandwich. I got the mint chocolate chip ice cream inside with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on the outside ( you get to choose two toppings). Was it excessive? Maybe. But I have no regrets for trying it. Both the doughnut and ice cream were delicious. Location was smaller with no indoors seating but a few tables on a patio out front. It was a very hot weekend so I do wish we didn't have to sit outside but some seats are better than no seats. Street parking was the only option. Would love to go back in the future.

An adorable place, with really good vegan donuts! I had the powdered sugar jam one and it was just oozing with goodness. We also got a creamsicle milkshake which was fabulous! Ended up bringing home 6 donuts and they were really enjoyed by all! Service was very polite and efficient. Will be returning!

Amazing ice cream and yeast donuts with several flavors. Staff is really nice too.

I tried the crème brûlée and the caramel Instagraham donuts. The crème brûlée was delicious, but the caramel donut was a bit too sweet for my taste. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It's worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Just ditch this place and go to Bernie Beigne instead. This spot is somehow super famous in Montréal, but honestly, the donuts are the worst I’ve had. I gave it three chances over the last few years, and every time it was a letdown. The last time was so bad I actually threw it in the trash and I’m a full-on sugar addict who never wastes dessert. I usually eat anything remotely sweet, so that says a lot. Total hype, no flavor.

This place is going to make me go bankrupt because all I think about is the fritters from this place. Day, night, at work, at home.….all I want are La Beignerie fritters (currently, blueberry fritters). MIND BLOWING!!! The other doughnuts are also awesome too, BTW!

La Beignerie is a donut shop that offers traditional and interesting dough creations. I got a strawberry fritter: it was fantastic. The glazed shell and strawberry drizzles explode with flavor and melt in your mouth before sinking your teeth into the moist dough beneath. I wish I had ordered more donuts (or tried the ice cream)!

They have all vegan donuts and these are the best donuts I ever had. I would definitely suggest their chocolate and biscoff flavour. If you want to try something new, you can definitely have their earl grey donut which is surprisingly tasty. Maple and walnut donut is a must try if you like the maple flavour. Also, Rhubarb with strawberry donut is something new and good.

La Beignerie is an all vegan donut shop we wanted to try in Montreal. It has a cute big sign in the front so it wads easy to spot.
Accessibility - My husband is the one that went inside, and I stayed outside with my niece. I was in my wheelchair and there were either 1 step from the street or a few steps leading to the shop. They had no ramp so I decided to stay outside. It was a nice day and there are benches right outside their shop on the pedestrian walk. They also have their own private space right outside their shop for their customers. That was also a step up from pedestrian walk leading to the shop.
Donuts - we loved them, we loved how they had different flavors to try like creme brulee, a few I dont remember the names but tasted so good. One was passion fruit, other one was keylime, lastly we got boston creme. All donuts we got tasted very rich. You really tasted the actual flavors of the fruits and didn't taste from concentrate.
Payment - my husband said they had a sign that they opnly take cards for electronic payment, no cash. He forgot to take a pic of the reason for no cash, but I think it;s safer if they dont have cash at hand. Unfortunately for older people like my Dad who prefers cash, maybe just ask their kids or grand kids to get them this treat.

We tried the creme brulee, d'oh nut, cinnamon sugar and the chocolate confetti. I can't believe it's an all vegan doughnut place. Such a fan!!! Updated from previous review on 2025-07-08
