Buns are phenomenal (specially the roasted sesame red bean paste one), bubble tea was okay. Love this little place.

I went there for the first time. 26 september 2025. The tart and the egg sponge cake were super good. After two hours my blood sugar was ok.

Hi everyone, I just thought I would share my experience here at the Chinese bakery. First of all, I will start by saying that from having friends and family coming here on a weekly basis, the egg tarts in this Cantonese bakery is an above quality and usually pretty food. The egg tarts however are slightly more expensive than other similar Chinese bakery or the ones in Chinatown. So if you are willing to pay a little more for your egg tarts, it is The place for delicious egg tarts.
Now, they have steamed bread and also other products, like bbq buns (inside has bbq pork or other kind of meat), but what I personally don't like about the place is the meat bread and many baked breads are fried, and are quite oily. They have also red bean paste bread as well and they are fried.
They have also daily deals of bread that is a day old for 4.5$ plus tax (inside it has 3 bread), but you cannot choose what is in the bag.
To be honest, my experience with this bakery is a hit or miss. Either it is very good, or not so much. It is at a convenient location if you live in VSL, that's for sure =)

Cute little bakery (egg tarts, char siu baos, butter rolls but not in the regular knot shape, buns with red bean paste or coconut etc). They are pretty tasty, buns seem to be made from like a milk bread recipe, they're fresh and reasonably priced at around 2$ each, egg tarts were 6 for 7$. You grab a tray and a set of tongs and basically choose what you want out of the displays and go pay at the cash.
Parking: If you go on the weekend expect it to be difficult to park because there's a dimsum restaurant and an Asian grocery store that share the parking spaces.

Awesome baked goods ! I really liked the red bean brioche. I just wish they can add the apple pay / google pay option. It will be very helpful.

The products of this place are correct but the staff really has a detestable, execrable attitude, as if the customers bother them every time, not to mention this insistence that we pay cash (even though it is indicated that we can pay credit/interac). Fortunately, there are other businesses that sell the same type of product in the surrounding area and where the customer is treated more respectfully. We're going somewhere else. Damage!

Came in box that don't seem sanitary, and shorted 1/2 a dozen from order. Not worth the 15$ to come back as not certain of cleanliness, should have trusted the reviews. At least the food was good.

Their egg tarts are delicious! It's more delicious than the one in T&T, and it's very popular. It's sold out when I go to Wan Lat.

everything looks so yummy in this place, it is a treat for all your senses... I stopped to grab a cup of tea and it was impossible to get what I was looking for, despite the people serving me were very nice, it was very difficult to communicate with them. I understand the language barrier, it is just sad that I couldn't get more information on their products and what they were made of... other than that I left with a succulent Tea with honey and ginger, which made made day.

Delicious red bean, coconut, and cocktail buns! I also custom-order red bean pastries (without the egg in the center), and they're fantastic. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, in my experience.
