Excellent and delicious breakfast
Super Sandwich kefta!!
Went there for a coffee and bagel this morning, met the owner who was very kind! Beautiful decor.
An absolute gem with stunning decor and beautiful presentation.
Fabulous!! Best cappuccino in the city and best food as well unbelievable presentation!!
Beautiful decor- feels like you’re in a completely different country. I only had a cappuccino but even that had such amazing attention to detail and the presentation was unique. Loved it!!!!!
The phone number do not work. When u called they say Salon de Massage. Maybe they converti it.
Owner was extremely rude! I was so exited to make my girlfriend discover this place since the first time I ate there solo! Basically the food was excellent.. As soon as we walked in the owner asked us bluntly: What do you want? We would like to eat we replied and he told us rudely that he is closed! At what time you close? I asked him! He replied 1:30 it was exactly 2 pm at Jean Talon Market on a Saturday! Go figure! So I went on Google and check their schedule it mentioned they close at 6 pm! So I told him! And he gave some lame answer with the same rude attitude! Then I asked him if he's not bothered knowing that customers might complain about his attitude on Google! He rudely again told us he's busy, he got stuff to do and walked away inside the kitchen! Not another word!He definitely ruined it for us with his demeaning attitude we felt kicked out when we were basically looking forward to good food, hospitality and a good time! I will never go back to this place and would not recommend it to no one!The great food is not worth his nasty attitude
It's well worth the visit to enjoy brunch or a coffee break while shopping at the market. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The homemade jam is delicious.
Best omelette I’ve ever had! The Moroccan salad on the side with pomegranates is to die for. Beautiful ingredients, maybe a little pricey but worth it. Amazing bread and great coffee. A unique Moroccan brunch!

impolite and very rude. I wouldn't recommend it.
Very rude staff.
I have come with friends, recommended to friends, colleagues, clients to enjoy lunch while visiting the market Delicious meals and cute atmosphere. Over the past two years when stopping for lunch or stopping to ask a question about whats for lunch I have been addressed rudely, impolitely each time. A few days back with clients coming for a food tour in November I was suggesting we stop for tea and a bite. The owner told me I was not welcome and the restaurant was closed. I was with others who were regulars of La Stellina who were also shocked at the comments and behavior I later found out that other vendors who work at the market no longer go there because he is rude and u'welcoming As a professional Montreal guide and expert and a culinary guide who has lived near the market all of my life. I am regular to the market sometimes 2to 3 times in a day. Everyone knows me at the market. When working in the service industry. A warm sincere welcome is important. Telling a professional guide who has been recommendeding the place for years is probably not good for businesses other. There are plenty of wonder places to eat at the Jean Talon Market who also focus on the local ingredients and products. These establishments are warm, friendly and welcoming. Why not taste your way through the market intead of being served by a rude impolite unwelcoming owner who seems grumpy and miserable all the time. Life is too short.
Yes the food, decor and presentation is good and great options for vegans. My German and Egyptian friends visiting loved it . I have taken friends who have enjoyed both breakfast and lunch. However the owner is rude, impolite . I have grown up at the Jean Talon Market, live near by and I am there every day to buy my groceries, I also give culinary food tours. I have often recommended it for lunch. However no more. There are so many wonderful places to eat at the market, where service is great, people are friendly. When I told those who have stalls at the market what happened they agreed and they too have stopped getting their coffee and lunch there. With 6,900 places to eat in Montreal and a market full of fresh local products... why would go back.
We walked in for a light lunch and ordered a chicken quesadilla and sausage sandwich, which sound very pedestrian. But the presentation and the flavors were out of this world. Truly the best sandwiches we have had. Not big servings but super tasty. If you are in the market, look for it - it is the last one in a row of small cafes and is hidden somewhat by beautiful flowers. We sat outside in the sun and didn't want to leave. You need to check it out.
