I pretty much tried all the pastry and bakery shops in Montreal and L'Artisan is hands down the most authentic spot, their chocolate eclairs, Mile Feuille, Croisant and especially their Shortcakes are to die for, I only go here now.

The pastries here are SO GOOD! Flaky, fresh, addictive. Not much room to sit down, but it’s on the plateau so a little walk and you’ll find a nice place to sit if it’s nice weather.
