I came here to study and I usually love this café, but I was really disappointed with my last visit. I paid $7 for my coffee, sat at the “laptops only” communal table for about an hour, and when my laptop needed charging, I plugged it in at another spot. A barista then told me I couldn’t sit there with my laptop unless the screen was turned off, even though I wasn’t using it and was sitting right beside it. No one had mentioned this rule when I ordered, and the situation felt confusing and unwelcoming. I ended up leaving and felt like my time was wasted.
If you dont want students to come study then tell them before they order!!
Also, the posted winter hours in-store are incorrect on Google it doesn’t open until 9 pm,

I bought a coffee thinking i was going to stay there and study for a while but i was not informed of limited seating for people with computers. It was only after i bought it that i was informed and forced to go towards the outside seating. I was very disappointed seeing as the coffee was good. I unfortunately will not be going there again.
I used to love this place but it has completely changed. Food isn’t the same, the staff is rude, and the whole essence of this cafe is different.

Great cafe, good selection of food as well if you’re craving a snack! For those looking to work there they do not have outlets to charge your computer and there is a “no laptop” policy on all tables except the big one in the center. Just make sure your laptop is charged up before going there~
