It seems to me that the service is poor and the pizzas are just ok. If you want to 'look stupid' while cutting your pizza, this is the place to go: small plates and the cheapest and most used knives in town!

I go FERAL for their pepperoni pizza!I hadn’t been in over a year and today’s visit was just as I had hoped. Nice medium dish, good quality cheese and a great bake on the crust and bottom. Let’s not forget the heaping amount of pepperoni they put on! I think it’s great for 21$ and the portion is good. I usually take a piece back to work for an afternoon snack.Cute ambiance and service is pretty darn good considering they’re making your pizza fresh. My pepperoni I give a 9/10Rami gave his grand Mac (yes a Big Mac pizza) an 8/10Kyle gave is prosciutto a 7/10

Such a lovely dining experience for our first night in Montreal! After a long drive from Massachusetts we came to La Pontiac for a nice dinner. We shared the Arancini and Burrata to shared with a round of drinks and pasta/pizza for dinner. The food was great but William made our experiment top tier! Highly recommend stopping in for dinner!

Disappointment. The aperitif board only contained blue cheese and parmesan. Some of the cold cuts looked like raw, fatty bacon. Dry bread. It looked like they were running out of supplies. The pizzas also disappointing. Very basic, soft and lots of crust. The beet salad lacked cooking, toppings and refinement.Fortunately the server was really very nice.We were 4 people and we do not recommend and will not return.

We were visiting Montreal from Massachusetts this weekend for the eclipse and we happened to pass by Le Pontiac. We were on our way to the market and decided to go in for dinner instead and it one of the best decisions on our trip here. It was hands down the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had. The food and drinks were wonderful and very delicious but the atmosphere and service was what made the experience so great. William was our server and he asked thoughtful questions about where we were from and was genuinely interested in what we had to say. It made us feel really comfortable in a foreign place. If we ever come back to Montreal, this will be our first stop when we return. If you stop by, we recommend ordering the gemelli pesto and burrata dish and the limonade de bois drink!

We we're looking for a nice upscale spot for dinner on our recent trip to Montreal and we found this amazing gem . Le Pontiac is a perfect spot for a romantic night out or if your looking for a local spot to have some amazing appetizers , some out of this world contails and watch a hockey game. We started with the meatballs and arancinis , for my main dish I had probably one of the best pizzas in my life . Super freh dough and sauce and the prosciutto and arugula was perfect. And the deserts were to die for the cannolis and tiramisu were perfect to share. And I have found my new favorite cocktail the Paper plane and the manager William was the absolute best and personally took care of us and went above and beyond, because we had ventured out in a rare April snow storm , but we would travel in a blizzard to visit Le Pontiac again
