What a great little place with superbly crafted cocktails. Me and my colleague stumbled in here late on a Monday evening and were treated to some wonderful live music, friendly and attentive staff and a bar-tender who made us feel like family. Ah, Montreal!
Didn’t eat, but definitely had some cocktails! Incredibly inventive and delicious. I’m still talking about the perfectly clear pina colada. Unlike anything I’ve ever had and delicious. And this is coming from someone who typically doesn’t drink them!
Amazing drinks in a great atmosphere! This little cocktail bar has creative drinks: I asked for an Espresso Martini and the bartender suggested a variation they do with a cherry coke reduction (Briar Rose). He said it would taste similar to a Black Forest cake and he was spot on! Their Jean-Christophe is also delicious: a rif on an Old Fashioned with fat-washed bourbon and a honey waffle.
