Back again today ❤️ June 1 2025
Was happily greeted by two very happy employees. The jerk meal on point. The patties were good. I need a jerk chicken fix minimum once a month as my hubby can't handle anything with spices or a bit spicy. I always get the hot pepper sauce on the side to greedily dip my chicken into it. Satisfies every craving ❤️

Authentic dishes of the Islands, Oxtail is to die for, the Jerk chicken is on point. Corn bread super moist and has good bounce to it when you bite it - even a plantain poutine was a pleasant surprise. Come back a few times to try everything in the menu, I promise it won't dissapoint.

Honestly pretty good. The jamaican patties were definitely a bit too dry in my opinion and they didn't have any oxtail on the menu which I really wanted to try but the pork jerk was good as well as the beans and rice and plantin !

Amasing place. You get the atmosphere as the old american diners but Caribean style. Food is good and affordable. Would come again for sure!

Solid portion. Rice was really good. I love the plastic covered booth cushions that felt really old school.

Just ordered a plate from here on Uber eats and felt compelled to write a review right away. This is hands down the best jerk chicken in the sud ouest area. Tender and juicy meat with crispy, well seasoned skin. The plantain was fresh and fried to perfection. Absolute banger and definitely going to order here again soon❤️✅

Had a chance to try Lloydies as it was recommended by a friend. Got myself a patty, jerk meal and a side of fried chicken with the peppa sauce and coconut coleslaw. Patty was a bit dry, but still not bad. The fried chicken was a bit bland, I would probably pass on it. The jerk chicken was flavourful and moist, probably best part of the meal! Rice and peas was decent too. Coconut coleslaw was okay, I prefer creamy coleslaw and the peppa sauce was pretty good. Overall, I was comparing the Montreal jerk chicken to Toronto jerk chicken, and I have to say, Toronto wins, but Montreal is still good! Would recommend the jerk chicken for sure!
