L'Oeufrier (De La Montagne)

This is well worth visiting for breakfast or brunch! It’s very busy (even though it is a sizeable space) which tells you everything - busy always means best! We were lucky to arrive & get seated quickly, others arriving after us weren’t so fortunate & had to wait. If you’re more than a 2, expect a wait, plus a long wait for if more than a 4 (although you might get lucky!).

We came here today since our Friend recommended the place. First of all it was so incredible the food our waiter Pedro was so nice! And for the other comment about Taylor it was such a lie.. we heard everything she never tipped the waitress 35% she even said the service was great so I don’t know why she would lie like that and The manager was never rude or disrespectful.. I just feel like if you’re gonna write a bad review make sure you don’t lie first. Come here it is a great place, atmosphere, nice people and incredible food!!🍳🥓🍝

so we came here for a brunch and payed with 2 separate bills, we put all our tips onto one bill (35%) and when the waitress saw we didn’t tip 2 times, she got upset and called us out. the manager is absolutely unprofessional and was rude to us as well, and laughed in our face. so do not come here.

We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a great place to have breakfast.

Great atmosphere, incredible amount of choices of beverages and meal option.

The food tasted great and our server; Roxanna was amazing! She welcomed us with a smile, checked in on us often, and accommodated our needs.

Will definitely come back here.

I really don’t have anything bad to say about this place. The servers were all very nice, food was great, the atmosphere wasn’t terrible but it was very small which is obvious but I know that’s nothing they can’t help so oh well. Also, food came very fast so 👌🏻 I would recommend going!

Oh my goodness, the food was absolutely delicious! The waitresses were so lovely and helpful. Roxanna was particularly special, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. The temperature of the restaurant was surprisingly warm on a hot summer day.

Waited 20 minutes to get a table. Understandable since it was a busy Saturday….sat down at the table..served drinks…ordered food. Waited for 30 minutes. No food! The group behind us in line had the same number of people. They say down ten minutes after we did. I happened to look up and see one of them eating toast…needless to say I was livid! I asked for the check and the waitress insisted that our food was ‘coming’ but that the computer had an issue. What??? Then she offered us the meal for free - we don’t want free food!!! All we want is the check so we can move on! Finally, I three $30CAN on the table and we left. Montreal is full of great places to eat breakfast. Avoid this understaffed, unprofessional, hole-in-wall if you want breakfast food in less than 30 minutes. FYI - I can’t rate the food because it never arrived!!!

Food was average but the place was full of flies — especially around the plants on the walls. It felt unhygienic.

Wasn't the biggest fan of this place. I will admit that the food was alright, but ours was a little better than ok and a table beside me also complained about their oatmeal. Also service was glacial. This might have been a off day for them, so I won't completely write them off, and the drinks were really good, just not up to my standards.

Food and smoothies are good but the restaurant is very understaffed. Took 15 minutes to be seated with many empty tables and many people left the line while waiting.

Came in today around 11am super busy. Our waitress Roxanna super great with us! She suggested the Guiness record it was a super dish! Great work, smile and kind I recommend her and the breakfast

I do like the food and atmosphere but pretty sure I was discriminated against here... one of the waitresses refused to serve me.

I was seated for a while without service when finally a waitress attended to me and apologized for the wait.. during my meal I noticed that every single table around me was being served by a different waitress than mine, while mine was tending to a whole different seating area of the restaurant. After my food arrived I didn't receive any further service and had to ask the person clearing tables for a takeout box and the bill as the waitress that was actually handling my area (literally all the tables in a circle around me with me in the middle) never came to my table and the one that took my order was busy in her own section.

Sat here for 20 min while my friends ate their food. Waiter didn’t come over to us until I flagged her down to let her know my food isn’t here. Canceled my order since they forgot to put it in. Not like I live in Canada so guess I’ll never know what breakfast is like. Terrible impression never coming back

I have had breakfast in many places but this one hands down was the greatest breakfast we had in a very long time specially our Server Petro such a kind and polite person thwt really cared ☺️👍👌

You must try this place if you are into big breakfast !
