Food was good but there was an issue with the quality of their steamed rice which was dry. Should improve with this.
Great barbecue and fried chicken. tried the combo once but over all 5 stars.

You can taste the burnt old oil on the fried chicken. The barbecue pork is not bad.

Closest thing to Jollibee when it comes to spaghetti and fried chicken. Now I know where to go whenever I'm craving Jollibee.

What I like.
A) The chicken is super crunchy and almost like a Jolibee chicken joy.
B) Service is super friendly the lady in the front talked about the business and restaurant.
C) Food is delicious and many options are available with Filipino and Quebecois style cooking.
D) The restaurant is small 6 chairs only so it’s mostly for pickup.
What I did not like:
A) Food may take time to cook if not ready but it’s like a Jolibee so you need to wait if need be. But it’s understandable.
B) Parking may be full on street if busy and payment needed at the machine or app depending on the times.
C) If you pay by Money no extra surcharge so by card you may be charged but asked first to clarify.
Final Thoughts:
Very nice here and the service and Filipinos are very friendly and kind hearted. Conservatism and Right-Wing populism forever. If you have not tried try when you can. God Bless you all.

I was in LoveJoy Express past 5:00pm on a Wednesday. There was already a line up of clients though I was surprised that it has limited seats; I guess the word Express means to order and go. George, the husband of Joy, who are the owners pulled a table for my son and I. There are six seats only, 4 of which are stationary. People just come and order and go!
Menu Presentation is right there on the menu board, nothing fancy. I was surprised to see the prices with the amount of serving they give, it was generous! I was more than contented with the flavour of the barbecue. It was spot on, Pinoy na Pinoy!
My son was very contented with the fried chicken, it was like Jolibee. We took another order home and when we came home, the chicken was still crispy. It was more than an hour commute from Montreal to the Southshore.
We will surely go back!
Back in Paranaque, we have these barbecue places in one section of the town called Don Galo. It was a place na dindayo dahil masarap ang tapsilog at barbecue, LoveJoy reminds so much of that childhood place! Plus, with Jolibee chicken, what else can you ask for.
The lady at the cash was so helpful and polite. Mr. George, the owner was the leader of the team in the front of the house while Joy, was at the kitchen and was busy with her works. We complimented them and she smiled and waved and thanked us.
LoveJoy Express is an unassuming place, small and looks less than ordinary but the food is really really so good! The service is polite and respectful, the owners are generous in serving portion, Hindi kayo dinaya, Hindi kayo hinagad, you’ll feel you’ve been served with masarap na Pinoy food!

Generous size and nice presentation, but the food lacks flavour and tastes a bit bland to me. Maybe room for improvement?
bbq is not consistent its a hit or miss on the taste, sometimes its burnt and chewy. sometimes the cut of the meat is thick

Are you craving Filipino food? or seriously missing Jollibee because, let’s face it, we don’t have one here in Montreal? Look no further! THIS is the place!
This spot is a true hidden gem, and trust me, you have to try it to believe it. The space might be small, but the FLAVORS? They’re MASSIVE. The food is absolutely incredible especially the BARBECUE. Oh. My. Goodness. The taste? Spot on. It hits that nostalgic, comforting, straight from home kind of delicious.
I seriously cannot recommend this place enough.
But hey, don’t just take my word for it, go check it out yourselves and see what all the hype is about!
