Grew up with Jamaican beef patties since the mid 80s. Mr. Spicee's is one of the OG ones. Sure, over the years the shape of the patties changed (going from handmade to machine and slight recipe changes), but the taste is pretty much the same. They used to make them with real lard and the dough was flakier, but over the years they moved to healthier ingredients. Best roti in town, the goat roti is to die for the Jamaican Patty is so flaky and delicious would 100% recommend this place for good West Indian food. LOVE THIS PLACE, they only take cash just to give you a heads up and closed on Sunday.

Visited here on a return trip with my 14yr old to show him my go to spot for patties and Rock cake back in the 90's. Sadly though the patties aren't the same anymore but I'm happy to say the rock cake is just as good as I remember, you can still smell the aroma of them baking in back of the store just like I remember as a kid growing up. This is a must stop for me to grab a few packs of rock cake to take back to Toronto.
