We just had dinner at this restaurant and we wanted to share our wonderful experience. Our food was good and lots of it. Sarah was our waitress and she was very pleasant and very pretty.

ordered the salmon was raw on the inside onion soup not good tasted like tick gravy. do not recommend. braised short ribs were no meat only fat

This was the first resturant I went to on my first ever trip to Montreal. Food was outstanding, Marie-Jœlle and Kamel were amazing. 10/10 would go again.

Montreal is known for its good food, and of course Restaurant Méchant Boeuf didn’t disappoint us. The meal was perfect, just you might need to ask before you order an entry, it’s gonna be massive 😂

First time ever walking out of a restaurant. The server was incredibly rude and snide from the start without any provocation.

1) He became visibly angry and frustrated towards me just for letting him know that I was ready to order
2) He intentionally played dumb and pretended to not know what I wanted because I presumably was not pronouncing the menu item properly even when pointing to the item on the menu.
3) He also got angry at my date for asking for an Arnold Palmer because it wasn't listed explicitly on the drink menu.

Why any restaurant would keep such a miserable person on their front of house staff is beyond me.

Walked past this restaurant during a visit to Montreal with my family. Dining experience was excellent. The drinks and mock tails were some of the best we had in Montreal. The appetizers and steak entrées are a great quality. Our waiter, whose name was Abel, was incredibly attentive and made the evening enjoyable with his humor. An absolute must visit restaurant. We are certain to return.
