Maggie Oakes Reviews
The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. With so many great restaurants to choose from, I wouldn’t recommend this one based on our experience. The hostess outside was lovely and welcoming, but things changed once we were brought inside. Although the restaurant was nearly empty and we had a reservation, we were initially seated at a small table in the center. When we politely asked to move, the second hostess looked visibly annoyed and said...read full review

Maggie Oakes offers a welcoming atmosphere, with a lovely outdoor seating area perfect for watching people pass by on the plaza. The service is generally good, with friendly and accommodating staff who provide great recommendations. Recent reviews highlight the helpfulness of waiters like Pascal, who has received praise for his attention and advice, as well as the excellent service from Laurianne during brunch. The food is delicious, with highlights including the filet mignon, ribsteak with butter sauce, and the cinnamon espresso martini. Guests also enjoyed the t-bone steak and oysters, and many have noted the wonderful dessert options, such as a birthday crème brûlée. The restaurant adapts to dietary needs, as shown when a dish was customized for a customer with food allergies. While there can be some delays during busy times, the staff work hard to ensure guests are taken care of, sometimes offering a complimentary dessert to enhance the experience. The location is excellent, making it a great spot for both a relaxed meal and a fun outing during events like the Grand Prix. The ambiance is often described as warm and inviting, with many guests feeling at home but in a fancy setting. Visitors have praised both the food and the service, noting that even when small issues like a longer wait occur, the staff handles them well. Overall, Maggie Oakes remains a place worth visiting for a good night out.
