Great neighborhood diner for breakfast and brunch. Our new go to brunch spot. Delicious food and a courteous wait staff in a diner atmosphere. Highly recommend. Lots of parking in the area.

NDG Luncheonette offers a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that feels like a charming American sidewalk restaurant. The staff is warm and professional, working hard to cater to customers' needs. The food is excellent, with standout dishes like the beans, sausage, and breakfast sandwich. The seasonally topped pancakes are a must-try, and the classic JJ plate and breakfast sandwich are also popular. The peach pancakes and scrambled eggs are well seasoned and super fluffy. The house smoked lox, served on a bagel with large tomato slices, is excellent, though the tomatoes can make it a bit difficult to eat. Prices are fair, and portions can be good depending on what is ordered. While the pancakes could use some improvement, especially the one with apple compote, the overall experience is a 10/10 and well worth a visit. The restaurant is friendly and helpful, with plenty of street parking available and wheelchair accessibility on the first floor. However, service can sometimes be slow, and wait times may reach up to an hour even when it's not very busy. Despite this, NDG Luncheonette remains a beloved spot in the community, often considered the best brunch place in Montreal by many.
