This stuff is fingerlickingly delicious! We ordered El Pastor, Chilanquita, and chili - all were flavourful, with tantalizing textures of vegan goodness. Sandwiches are big, and filling, and warm - perfect for a gloomy winter. Drinks are not your regular fare, they have this natural taste that’s hard to find these days, without beeing over the top. The only regret - that we didn’t discover it earlier. Will definitely be back.

I searched on Door Dash for "healthy food" and this address came up - among others. Even though the name of the place didn't sound right for a Mexican cuisine, I trusted the reviews and ordered some food... It's been 4 hours now and I'm still struggling to digest that meal even after a glass of lemon water and a digestive tea ?

I had the pleasure of experiencing Nopalito while I was visiting friends in Montreal. As it turned out I was staying on Boulevard St Laurent and I was walking by Nopalito every day without realizing it was a vegan gem. Eventually I went on the Happy Cow app and discovered that it was waiting for me. I originally planned on going to casa Kaizen but it was closed. This proved to be fortuitous as I tried Nopalito. It was still relatively early in the day and I was in the exploring mood. I had a great conversation with the staff member who was working there while preparing my sandwich. The staff was friendly and it was clear that they were passionate about making and serving good food. They also gave me some advice on other vegan restaurants to check out.It took all my willpower I had not to devour the sandwich immediately, rather I walked to a bench that was on the edge of the Mcgill campus. I was glad I had the box as no two pieces of bread could contain the fillings of this colossal sandwich. By the time I sunk my teeth in it, I knew I was eating a miracle. Authentic to it's Mexican roots, this sandwich was rico. After a few minutes I was able to get through the behemoth as well as the toppings that fell into the box during my bites. Napkins were necessary as it was a delicious mess. My only regret about Montreal was that I ate at Nopalito one time. With that being said, it just means I have a good reason to come back.

45 minute wait for what should essentially be a fast food sandwich? Served with no remark regarding the extreme wait, as if it was routine. No idea what was going on in there but the fact that the sandwiches were okay in the end doesn't make up for the wait. Especially as they were super messy and served with no napkins! How is someone expected to eat this without a single napkin? Definitely won't be back.

Food is really good!! but unfortunately my food was so cold since the driver didn't have a warm bag...I know other restaurants don't even give the food to the driver of they don't have a warm bag and I'm a bit disappointed that it wasn't done with my food..

My friend and I ordered la torta Doña, per the recommendation of the staff, who was lovely by the way. It looked good and I had high expectations for Nopalito because I am a HUGE fan of Sushi Momo. Unfortunately, this sandwich absolutely did not meet expectations. We were extremely disappointed with the flavors, which clashed with each other. The vegan feta was off and the mole sauce seemed to throw off the whole dish on its own. What’s more is that we shared with our friend who is allergic to peanuts and had an allergic reaction to something in the sandwich even though there was no mention of peanuts in any of the sandwich ingredients?I can’t speak for any of the other menu items, but I was very disappointed with la doña. With a million other amazing options for vegan food in Montreal, I can’t say that I’ll be coming back here nor recommending it to anyone.

I came here last night with high hopes, got the Dona and it was so disappointing. The flavours were all muddled up and the filling tasted really bad.

HYGIENE ALERT ?Please wash your hands before making the sandwiches, Especially if you are going to use the POS station, take our money, then do the sandwiches with no gloves on.I tried the “La Dona”. It was okay. Nothing too special. The flavour of Onion was the most potent in it. Very few avocados in there. Also I asked him to add some more, the guy there ignored my request.Personally, I wouldn’t go there. For hygiene purposes, I would not recommend it to anyone else.

Absolutely delicious food! We tried the doña and llorona torta and thoroughly enjoyed how flavourful both sandwiches were. The only thing that I would note is that it would be good if the restaurant could indicate on the menu that the mole sauce used in la doña contains nuts. I didn't realise this and had a severe allergic reaction after eating a few bites - which hasn't made me want to come back and try the other offerings from the restaurant!

We just went today. The food was fantastic, the quality was excellent. What we loved the most was the service, he was amazing! We felt like home. We will come back soon, it's great to have such places in Montreal!

Amazing food, so delicious! It seems that everything that chef Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre put his hands on, becomes gold. The tortas are just so good! We had the Al Pastor and Llorona, they were both just perfect, I can't wait to eat there again. Highly recommended.
