Nice place with excellent coffee and helpful shopkeeper. However the music in the coffee shop is too loud. I told the staff that they usually fix it immediately, but the music gets very noisy as soon as the track changes.

A few years ago (2020) I used to love going to Nous Sommes. Even when I came back to visit Montreal I went out of my way to go here. But I’ve lived in the city again for 2 years and I’ve been back twice. Both experiences were unfortunately pretty disappointing. Poor, unfriendly service and the drinks were subpar, especially compared to how high quality they were before. Nous Sommes, please bring back your awesome service and coffee, we miss it!!

Kind of average coffee. The cappuccino foam was very open, not very frothy and didn’t hold for long, on reflection I’d say it was closer to a flat white than an actual cappuccino. Coffee was fine if you walk past and need something but I wouldn’t make this a destination to go out your way for. The atmosphere is quite nice though and for some reason they sell a lot of socks which whilst random they have a great selection.

I wanted my boyfriend to try a dalgona coffee it was good but nothing to do with a normal dalgona, which is normally a coffee with a brown sugar heavy foam on top. Here it was crumbles of brown sugar ? That melted in the coffee. Some seats inside and outside

I had heard great things about this café and was really looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing—both in terms of the drink and the service. The barista working that day (a woman with red hair) had a noticeably dismissive attitude from the moment I walked in. She looked me up and down while taking my order, which felt unwelcoming, but I still left a tip in good faith. As for the drink, I ordered a matcha, which was extremely watered down and lacked flavor—it certainly didn’t feel worth the $8 I paid. If you’re a matcha enthusiast, I’d recommend checking out places like Matcha Zanmai or Tsujiri instead.

Me and my boyfriend tried the strawberry lemonade and it was easily the best lemonade I’ve had. We also got the croissant, which was also very good. Perfect small breakfast for my first day in Montreal
I got the strawberry milk latte (no coffee) and it was yummy. Wish there was more milk than ice cubes. Fast service. Small but cute atmosphere. Would go back to try their dalgona iced latte :)

Nous Sommes Café is a lovely little place with consistently good coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Very less staff, noone takes your order seriously , I waited for 30 mins in que to get one latte with extra shot< paid 2 dollars extra for it> and the server did not even put it in the coffee, being courteous the huge que of people behind me served by only one waitress with no sense of urgency I didn't complain and just left
