Visited on Christmas while traveling. The staff was very friendly, but seemed stretched a bit thin. All of the food we had was great, it just took a while to get it. The main hostess/owner? Apologized several times for long waits on things, and made our cocktails extra strong to make up for it ? The only real complaint was that the bread didn't come with the soups, we had to ask for it and had finished our soup by the time it arrived.
While passing through Montreal for one night, we wanted to find a cute bistro for a nice dinner. After a bit of googling and whatever last minute reservations were available, we stumbled into Les Deux Gamins. Such a quaint and lovely spot for a romantic dinner. Fantastic atmosphere for a date night, definitely. Food was delicious and very well seasoned. And the French onion soup was the perfect starter. Staff was delightfully charming and knowledgeable. Ask for a suggestion for the wine pairing and you won’t be disappointed! Went above and beyond to make our night spectacular. Will definitely go again and would absolutely recommend to anyone!
