If I’m paying $30 for a single sandwich I also expect top notch customer service. The staff didn’t acknowledge me but took the time to chat with the other servers for 10 freaking minutes straight. She even threw the credit card reader at me when I was trying to pay for my expensive sandwich. Maybe she was having a bad day? But even so, I can’t never imagine anyone would do the same thing to their customers. In all fairness the Cuban sandwich was delicious, but I’m never coming back to be treated so horribly.

Excellent food and pastries!!The sandwiches, panini and mac and cheese are delicious. The kouinaman is excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the almond croissant...overpriced and no almond cream inside. Rather dry for an almond croissant. The rest I highly recommend!Plan to wait though because there are always people.

I hadn't been there in about a year, so I was very excited to have their legendary grilled cheese sandwich, which I always loved. Unfortunately, it was beyond disappointing. Completely different. Tiny portion, less cheese, barely any onions, less tasty and unsubstantial bread. For the price, I felt ripped off. It’s not right to charge that much considering the portion and quality. In the past, I had no issue paying the steep price because the sandwich was fantastic. I hope the restaurant considers going back to the original.

$30 for a panini with a side of attitude. I guess server training is not needed anymore when you have a cookbook.

A busy place. After having breakfast here we understood why. The food was quality made and really delicious. Service was great. Highly recommended, we look forward to returning next time we're in Montreal.

My experience here was excellent. I had the Cuban sandwich and the Mac N Cheese, both were excellent and the temperature of the food was perfect when brought to the table. I had the Chocolatine and it was okay, it may have been better if I had had it earlier in the morning when more fresh. The service was quick and friendly. This place can get quite busy, so plan to wait if you are visiting during a prime time. Our waiter was bilingual (English and French) as are most staff it seems!

I had a scone. Pretty good. The other dishes seemed very filling but greasy. French bistro atmosphere. Payment is problematic because unlike other restaurants, they do not separate bills. When you have to pay for your stuff when there are taxes to add and the tip (and just for the mess I would have given less), well that forced us to do grocer's calculations. 6 friends, 6 bills.

The food is really good. I personally loved the Cuban sandwich. The chicken melt was also decent. What was really a let down were their staff. We were seated in a very uncomfortable spot. When they delivered the food they wouldn’t leave the cutlery. They are in a rush to take the cutlery away and i wasn’t even done using it nor was i done with my food. I thought that was very rude of the staff and we weren’t even there for 30mins in total. A truly unpleasant experience for a gem of a place.
