The food is good, the decor is nice, service is ok. I did not like the loud rock music though, very unusual in an izakaya restaurant. The buns with braised pork were cold and came with pickles, still very surprising. I am happy I tried it but it is not the kind of izakaya I am used to. So be aware of that when trying it. And no happy hour offered vs what says the black board. Still worth the try.
One of my go-to spot, great food and ambiance, sometimes the music is off tho (it was like a club vibe; quite loud and “beaty”instead of a chill pub resto). Their bao buns and fried squid tentacles NEVER miss !! so delicious every time, drinks are good as well and decent portion. They did increase the price $18 for 2 buns instead of $16, as well as the bibimbap, quite steep, but still within affordability.
Good yakitori, the flavors were there but they served the skewers luke warm instead of just from the fire and that's a bit unforgivable, it ruined it a bit for me. The chicken karaage was delicious.
